Do you know the reasons why women are more attracted to men who are criminals?

In many societies they are cruel but some women see criminals as good and attractive men who can change and redeem them through their love as helpless children who need to be protected.
Examples of these common male friends is an American Charles Manson, who was sentenced to life in prison for ordering his followers to kill 9 people nearly half a century ago.
